Yogyakarta, Solo, Mt Bromo, Baluran Nat’l Park, Tabuhan Island, & Ijen Crater 8 Days 7 Nights Tour

D1. Arrival – Transfer in to your hotel in Yogyakarta
Arrival in Yogyakarta, meet & greet with our guide and transfer you to Hotel for check-in.
D2. Yogyakarta City Tour + Prambanan Temple Tour – Transfer to Borobudur village (BLD)

After breakfast at hotel, start Yogyakarta City Tour visiting :
Sultan Palace, Taman Sari (Water Castle), Ngasem Traditional Bird Market, Silversmith & Batik Processing.
After lunch at local restaurant continue to Borobudur Buddhist Temple one of the forgotten Wonders of the World which was built on 800AD and also quick photo stop at Candi Pawon & Candi Mendut.
Next transfer to Prambanan Village visiting Prambanan Hindus Temple which was built on 850AD and also quick photo stop at Candi Sewu. Afterwards transfer to Manohara Hotel in Borobudur Village for check-in and overnight with dinner en route.
D3. Borobudur Sunrise Tour – Dieng Plateau Tour – Transfer to Solo (BLD)
Activity on site: 5 hours
Trip Duration: 7,5 hours
Early in the morning at 0500 start trekking up Borobudur Temple to enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the top of the temple (if weather is permitted). After breakfast at hotel, check out and depart via Magelang – home of borobudur_sunrise.jpgthe National Army Academy – and Temanggung. Enjoy dramatic scenery as we drive through the tea and tobacco plantations of the Sindoro – Sumbing valley – some of the most spectacular countryside you will ever see. Visit Java’s oldest Hindu Temples, dating from 8th century (Bima Temple, Gatotkaca Temple, Pandawa Temple & Arjuna Temple). See the active volcanic craters (Sikidang Crater) and also take in the beauty of the Telaga Warna (coloured) and Telaga Pengilon (mirror) lakes.
Afterwards transfer to Solo for check-in and overnight.
D4. Solo City Tour – Sukuh Erotic Temple + Tawangmangu Waterfall (BLD)
Activity on site: 5,5 hours

Mangkunegaran Palace, Triwindu Antique Market & Radya Pustaka Museum.
Next transfer to Sukuh “Erotic” Hindus Temple which was built on 1437AD some years after Majapahit Kingdom collapsed. The temple has a trapezium shape with similar shape as the Inca temple in Mexico, South America. There are also many erotic reliefs however; they carry on the value of sexual education in a primitive manner.
From there we visit Tawangmangu to enjoy a beautiful Grojogan Sewu Waterfall, an 81m high of waterfall not so far from the temple.
Afterwards transfer back to hotel for overnight with dinner en route.

D5. Solo – Transfer to Mt Bromo area (BLD)
Trip Duration: 9 hour
After breakfast at hotel, check-out and we will long drive to Mt Bromo area. Upon arrive at Bromo check-in hotel & overnight.
Lunch & dinner will be provided at local restaurant.

D6. Mt Bromo Sunrise & Penanjakan Peak Tour – Transfer to Baluran – Savannah Dusk Safari (BLD)
Activity on site: 12 hours
Trip Duration: 5 hours
bromo.jpgAt 3.30 in the early morning you’ll be wake up and the Jeep will bring you to the world’s most famous view point at Mt Penanjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera to enjoy the sunrise (if we’re lucky) with its young volcanic including Mt Bromo and an active Mt Semeru in the background.Afterward the adventure continue to an active Mt. Bromo volcano to climb up 245 step of stairs (Horse ride is optional). Then the Jeep will bring you back to hotel for breakfast and re-packing. Next we continue our trip to Baluran National Park. Arriving at Baluran check-in hotel and start Savanna Dusk Safari Tour, which is a “soft-core” excursion that brings you an unique thrill of close encounters with wildlife at dark that you only see at a distance of several hundred meters during day-light hours. Upon completion then back to the hotel for overnight.
Lunch will be provided at local restaurant while dinner will be served at hotel.

D7. Baluran – Tabuhan Island – Transfer to Ijen Crater area (BLD)

Trip Duration: + 5 hours
After breakfast at hotel, check-out and transfer to Kampe Beach. Once we reach Kampe Beach, we will cross by speed boat to Tabuhan Island. Tabuhan Island covers an area of about 5 ha. There are spectacular marine gardens, the coral reefs are homes for myriad of shellfish, sponges, crayfish and marine plants. It is good for scuba diving as the water is very clear. After finish relaxing at Tabuhan Island, we crossing back to Kampe Beach and transfer you to Ijen Crater area for check-in hotel & overnight.
Lunch will be provided at local restaurant while dinner will served at hotel/local restaurant.

D8. Ijen Crater Trekking – Transfer Out Ketapang (B)

Trip Duration: 2 hours
Early in the morning short transfer to Paltuding Ranger Post for starting Ijen Tour, Breakfast will be arranged from the hotel (picnic style) – Ijen Crater shows a special type of volcanic feature common to Indonesia, about 1 km in diameter and 175 meters deep. The floor is covered completely by a warm lake, milky blue green in color, held back by a dam built many years ago by the Dutch, in order to keep the hot mineral, laden water from raining for the crop lands below. After finishing the unforgettable trip, transfer out to Ketapang Ferry Terminal (ferry to Bali) or back to Surabaya.
