Day 1. Transfer-In (D)
The trip to Tanjung Bira will be pursued for approximately 4 hours to pass through tribal villages Makassar with houses built on poles typically coupled with the natural landscape is quite soothing eye. Paotere is the harbor in the north of Makassar where traditional Buginese sailing boats (Phinisi) load and unload their cargo. It is fascinating to see the boat workers running across narrow wooden planks from the dock to the boats carrying unbelievably large loads. The Phinisi have been motorised and the number length of the masts have been reduced, but these boats still make attractive subjects for photography.

Fort Fort Rotterdam is building remnants of history which is very significant for the people of Makassar. Bantimurung waterfall area which is also famous for its diversity of color butterfly and the beauty of its natural caves with stalactites and stalagmite rocks. Bantimurung waterfall has a width of 20 meters and a height of 15 meters with hills panorama and natural waterfall cascading from the top of cliffs. The water was crystal clear and cool off from the rock by rain throughout the year. Under the waterfall flow there is a bathhouse from the foundation of hard limestone and covered with a layer of minerals due to the flow of water for hundreds of years.
