Agung An-Nur mosque is a mosque located in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. Agung An-Nur Mosque was built in 1963 and was completed in 1968. This magnificent mosque architecture combines style Malay, Arab, Turkey and India. Agung An Nur Mosque referred to as the Taj Mahal of his Pekanbaru, Riau. When we observe the architectural Agung An Nur Mosque does have some similarities with the Taj Mahal. The main building is symmetrical measuring 50 x 50 meters with a large pond and a fountain right in front of the mosque was made similar to the Taj Mahal in India. The architecture of the Agung An Nur Mosque was designed by Ir. Roseno. The capacity of the mosque can accommodate about 4,500 worshipers.
The mosque consists of 3 floors with a predominance of green color. Great Mosque of An Nur have 5 domes and 4 minarets. Building the Agung An Nur Mosque consists of three levels. The upper level is used for prayer, and lower levels for offices and meeting rooms. Agung An Nur Mosque has three steps, 1 piece of stairs at the front and two pieces of the ladder on the side. The upper part consists of 13 pieces of the door and the bottom consists of 4 pieces of the door and the room has a large room and a hall. While calligraphy found in the room of the Agung An Nur Mosque was written by a calligrapher named Azhari Nur of Jakarta which was written in 1970.
